Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi met with his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar, APA reports citing the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 17th ECO Summit held in Khankendi.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister also posted about the meeting on his social media account.
The minister stated that he discussed Pakistan-Iran relations with his Iranian counterpart: “We discussed the current situation and events in the region. We agreed to keep each other informed of any possible changes. We reaffirmed our commitment to strong Pakistan-Iran relations and agreed to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.”
