Slovakia has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, APA reports, citing TASR.
Elchin Gasimov has been appointed to this position.
Slovak President Peter Pellegrini presented letters of credence to the heads of eight diplomatic missions covering Europe, Africa, and Asia at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava.
It is reported that Elchin Gasimov is originally from Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar district.
