Iran has highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s firm and principled stance amid the recent confrontation between Iran and Israel, said Mojtaba Damirchilou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan while presenting his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev today, APA reports.
He emphasized that Azerbaijan’s principled and firm stance amid the Iran-Israel confrontation has been highly appreciated in Iran and conveyed Tehran’s gratitude in this regard. The ambassador added that Iran is fully confident that Azerbaijani territory will never be used against Iran and that the Azerbaijani state would never allow such a situation.
