Armenia can integrate into the European Union only at its own expense, stated Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Armenia’s integration into the European Union should not take place at the expense of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
“While moving toward the European Union, which is Armenia’s sovereign right, Yerevan cannot and should not do so at the expense of the Eurasian Economic Union countries. Armenia must do it at its own expense. Everything is very simple. There is nothing ambiguous here. Everything is absolutely clear, transparent, and straightforward,” the Kremlin spokesman said while answering journalists’ questions in Astana.
