“Kazakhstan will support Azerbaijan in the development of the Middle Corridor," said Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov during his speech at the meeting of prime ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku, APA reports.
He noted that an intergovernmental agreement with Azerbaijan is planned to be signed this year to enhance the institutional status of the Middle Corridor.
The prime minister emphasized that the opening of the Trump route and ensuring its integration into the Middle Corridor is important.
According to Olzhas Bektenov, several Kazakh companies already intend to participate in projects related to the construction and modernization of railway infrastructure.
