“Today’s meeting is taking place amid growing global instability,” said Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the meeting of prime ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries in Baku, APA reports.
He noted that the current situation requires unity: “Looking at the recent OTS summits, it is clear that the organization is becoming a center of power in the Eurasian region. The organization unites states that are historically connected by brotherly ties. The Kyrgyz side has presented a number of new project proposals for the Turkic Investment Fund. In the context of strengthening transport links within the organization, there is a need for digitalization of international cargo transportation. Kyrgyzstan can serve as a key link in the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor. As the President of Kyrgyzstan has also stated, the Zangezur corridor is the logical continuation of the China–Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan railway line.”
