Putin tells Pashinyan Armenia cannot be a member of both the EU and EAEU at the same time

Russia is calm about Armenia’s discussions on developing relations with the European Union, but it is not possible to be a member of both the Eurasian Economic Union and the EU at the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Kremlin, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

Putin noted that European Union standards differ from those of the Eurasian Economic Union.

He emphasized that he hopes the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union will operate in a mutually cooperative manner in the future.
