The Kremlin has yet to hear the US public reaction to Russia's proposal to transfer $1 billion from frozen assets to the "Board of Peace," said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, however, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that US President Donald Trump called Moscow’s proposal an “interesting idea.”
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that Russia’s proposal opens new horizons for cooperation.
Note that Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready to allocate $1 billion from its frozen funds held in US banks to the “Board of Peace” created on Trump’s initiative.
