Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has commented on the arrival of a Russian grain-carrying train to Armenia via Azerbaijan and Georgia, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
Pashinyan described the event as important and historic.
“I would like to reiterate that Armenia is ready to ensure the transit of cargo trains from Marqara to Kornidzor and in the opposite direction — from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and from Türkiye to Azerbaijan. A train from either side can reach the crossing point within half an hour, and we are fully prepared to manage the transit,” Pashinyan said.
