"The pilot project envisaging the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine via the Trans-Balkan corridor has already been completed. Currently, work is underway on drafting a new contract to continue such supplies," Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, Svitlana Hrynchuk, told RBK-Ukraine, APA reports.
'We are currently holding negotiations. Azerbaijan is interested in this issue. If a contract is signed, (we will continue gas supplies in 2025 as well – ed.),' Hrynchuk said.
The minister added that there are also risks in this area, as recently Russians have increased attacks on gas infrastructure supporting import operations.
