The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Damascus has launched a humanitarian campaign under the slogan “Sincere congratulations from the people of Azerbaijan: Happy holiday to the brotherly people of Syria,” with the support of the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as in cooperation with the Al-Birr Society in Baniyas and the Khalid ibn al-Walid Society in Homs, the embassy told APA.
According to the information, within the framework of the campaign, sacrificial meat portions were distributed to a total of 1,000 families in the cities of Baniyas and Homs over the past two days (May 27-28).
