Remains of missing First Karabakh War martyr Rashadat Piriyev laid to rest in Barda district - UPDATED - PHOTO

The remains of Rashadat Piriyev, a missing martyr and serviceman from the First Karabakh War, were buried in Yeni Dashkend village on May 22, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr, after which the remains of the martyr were laid to rest at the Yeni Dashkend cemetery.

The martyr’s relatives, servicemen, members of the public and local residents attended the ceremony.

During the funeral ceremony, a military orchestra performed the National Anthem and a volley of gunfire was fired.

Note that Piriyev Rashadat Ali oghlu was born in 1973 in Yeni Dashkend village of Barda district.

He went missing during battles in the Kalbajar direction during the First Karabakh War.

Martyr Rashadat Piriyev is the brother of Rashid Piriyev, Chief of the State Traffic Police Department of the Baku City Main Police Department and police colonel.

A farewell ceremony for the martyr is being held in the village of Yeni Dashkand in the Barda District.

The martyr’s remains will be buried in the village cemetery.
