Azerbaijan is hosting a historic and significant meeting — WUF13, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov said during a roundtable on “Children and Youth” held within the framework of WUF13, APA reports
He stated that they take great pride in hosting international events in Azerbaijan every year. This includes forums and other important events.
Farid Gayibov added that sustainable cities must remain inclusive and people-oriented, while innovation and technology should strengthen community life and connections between people.
“As we come together today at the World Urban Forum, it must be acknowledged that the success of sustainable urban development depends not only on infrastructure and investments, but also on participation, trust, solidarity and human connections,” the minister noted.
