Kirill Budanov, head of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia), claims that US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and entrepreneur and the American leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner may visit Kyiv after April 12. This will be their first visit to Ukraine, APA reports citing Bloomberg.
"Kushner, Whitkoff, and Lindsey Graham —those are the ones expected to come. We'll see who else will be there," Budanov said in an interview with Bloomberg.
The delegation could arrive shortly after April 12, he specified. Although Witkoff and Kushner have visited Russia several times for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, this will be their first visit to Ukraine.
According to Budanov, Kyiv could receive security guarantees as a result of the American delegation's visit. "We defined what we want long ago. I think it will be realized soon," Budanov asserted. "What happens next is another matter. But in terms of security guarantees, we have definitely made progress; we've already moved forward."
