103 foreign nationals, including Azerbaijani citizens, deported from Georgia

In recent days, 103 foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds have been detained, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The individuals, who are citizens of Türkiye, India, Egypt, Russia, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, China, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ghana, Congo, Thailand, and other countries, have been deported from Georgia. In accordance with local legislation, they have been banned from re-entering the country.

The ministry noted that in the first quarter of this year, 904 illegal migrants were expelled from Georgia, including 360 in March alone.
