Seventeen US military bases in the Middle East have been destroyed, a spokesperson for Iran’s General Staff of the Armed Forces said, Fars reports.
“Americans fled their bases for the first time and took refuge in hotels. If countries in the region provide shelter to American soldiers in hotels, then naturally those hotels will become our targets. Do not let them into hotels so that we can strike them at their bases,” the statement said.
It was added that even if the war ends, the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its previous state.
It was also noted that the Israeli Air Force command center, the location where cabinet meetings are held, a center where nuclear scientists gathered, and a military industrial research center were struck, with heavy losses reported in all of them.
It was claimed that the death toll in Israel as a result of the war has exceeded 1,320 so far.
