The United States has once again denied a visa to Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He said that he was unable to obtain a visa for his visit to the United States once again.
Note that a delegation of Russian parliamentarians has visited the United States. The delegation includes MPs Nikonov, Zhurova, and Vice Speaker Chernyshov. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian parliamentarians received instructions from President Vladimir Putin before their visit to the United States. He noted that contacts between Russian and U.S. parliamentarians are very important and could help revive frozen relations between the two countries.
