French club Paris Saint-Germain defeated English club Chelsea 5-2 in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. The match took place in Paris, APA reports.
The winners' goals were scored by Bradley Barcola (10th minute), Ousmane Dembélé (40), Vitinha (74), and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (86 and 90+4). Malo Gusteau (28) and Enzo Fernandez (57) scored for the losers.
PSG's goalkeeper was Russian Matvey Safonov. TASS previously reported that Safonov had been named to the extended Russian national team roster for March friendlies against Nicaragua and Mali.
The Champions League round of 16 return leg between Chelsea and PSG will take place on March 17 in London.
