A mud volcano eruption was recorded in Hajigabul district today at 16:53 local time, APA reports.
The eruption was registered by the volcanic-area seismic stations of the Republican Seismological Survey Center (RSSC) under ANAS.
According to the RSSC’s “Dynamics of Earthquake Sources” department, the eruption lasted 13 minutes and was characterized by a single phase. The eruption depth was 3 kilometers, and the energy released as a result of the eruption amounted to 3.38×10^6 joules.

A mud volcano erupted on Mount Harami, located in the Hajigabul and Shamakhi districts, APA's Mil-Mughan bureau reports.
The mud volcano, which erupted for several seconds, was accompanied by a flame that rose high. The volcanic eruption was observed from several villages located in the Hajigabul area off the Baku-Gazakh highway.
