The parties discussed the current state of Georgia-US relations and the processes taking place in the region. The importance of peace and stable development in the region was emphasized and the processes taking place in Georgia were reviewed.
The meeting paid special attention to Georgia's role as a regional connecting point, and in this regard, the potential of the Middle Corridor was discussed.
During the discussions, members of the US delegation noted Georgia's role in global and regional politics and security issues.
The Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Georgian side's readiness to resume relations with the US and restore strategic partnership.
