Kremlin: If Zelensky is ready to meet Putin, Russia is waiting for him in Moscow

US President Donald Trump has suggested that Russia consider a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, said Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to the Russian President for international affairs, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

He added that Putin has repeatedly said that Zelensky could come to Moscow if he is open to dialogue.

Ushakov stressed that potential contacts between Putin and Zelensky should be aimed at achieving concrete positive results: "If Zelensky is ready to meet with Putin, Russia invites him to Moscow. Russia is ready to guarantee his security. Russia does not rule out contacts between Putin and Zelensky, but they must be well-prepared and result-oriented. The issue of their meeting was raised several times in telephone conversations between the Russian President and Trump."
