Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar visited the Alley of Martyrs and Victory Park, APA reports.
“During my visit to the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to those who died in the Karabakh wars, as well as the victims of ‘Black January,’ I laid a wreath at the grave of Jewish-origin soldier Albert Agarunov, who was killed while serving as a tank officer during the First Karabakh War, and at Victory Park in Baku.
Albert Agarunov was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan and was buried in the Alley of Martyrs. Alongside rabbis, Muslim clerics also took part in his funeral,” the minister wrote on his Facebook social media account.
