In the first 10 months of last year, 27,544 men's knitted suits were imported into Azerbaijan from abroad, with the total import value of these goods amounting to $390,380.
According to Yeniavaz.com, the average customs value of one imported men's knitted suit was approximately $14.2 (24.1 manat).
It should be noted that Turkey accounts for the largest share of imports. Goods imported from this country lead the list in both quantity and value. Other countries include China, Uzbekistan, and European countries.
For reference, the cheapest knitted suits were imported from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, while the most expensive came from Italy and India.
Men's knitted suits were imported to Azerbaijan from the following countries:
Turkey — 18,375 units (average customs value per unit — 28.5 manat);
China — 8,194 units (13.7 manat);
Uzbekistan — 800 units (5.1 manat);
Pakistan — 60 units (14.2 manat);
Bangladesh — 54 units (3.5 manat);
Bulgaria — 22 units (420.4 manat);
Sri Lanka — 19 units (2.7 manat);
Italy — 8 units (986 manat);
India — 7 units (641.1 manat);
USA — 5 units (61.2 manat).
