The court hearing scheduled for December 30 in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan, charged under articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other grave crimes, has been postponed for an indefinite period, APA reports.
The reason is that the panel of judges in this case, chaired by Zeynal Aghayev and consisting of Anar Rzayev and Jamal Ramazanov (reserve judge Gunel Samedova), has retired for deliberations in another case (a criminal case involving 15 Armenian citizens).
Thus, the next court hearing in the case against R. Vardanyan will be held after the judicial panel returns from deliberations.
