Türkiye and Armenia have decided to simplify the visa process for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, APA reports, citing the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The decision was adopted as a result of an agreement reached between the special representatives of Türkiye and Armenia within the framework of the normalization process.
Under the decision, starting from January 1, 2026, holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports of Türkiye and Armenia will be able to obtain electronic visas (e-visas) free of charge.
It is noted that by this move, Türkiye and Armenia once again reaffirm their commitment to continue the normalization process of relations between the two countries without any preconditions.
