The negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia is necessary, even taking into account the goals set by Moscow, said Kirill Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in an interview with Suspilne, APA reports.
According to him, a certain window of opportunity may open in February to achieve a peace agreement.
Budanov believes that this period is the most favorable stage for both Russia and Ukraine in terms of achieving certain results.
"This is due to military activity, the warm season and other factors. Many factors play a role here," Budanov emphasized.
