Today, the "From Village to City" New Year agricultural fair is being held in Khankendi city, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agrarian Procurement and Supply OJSC operating under the ministry, Public Relations Department of the Reconstruction, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts told APA's Karabakh bureau.
The main goal of the fair is to support the sale of local farmers' products, as well as to provide the population with quality agricultural products at more affordable prices.
The farmers participating in the fair put up for sale natural and quality agricultural products brought from their farms. The offered products were presented at prices lower than market prices, which aroused the interest of buyers. The revival observed at the fair during the day showed that the residents welcomed the initiative positively.
The fair, organized on native lands, created a festive mood among the city residents and satisfied both local producers and consumers.
