Denis Kapustin, the leader of the "Russian Volunteer Corps", which fought against Russia on the side of Ukraine, has been killed, APA's Russian bureau reports.
Kapustin was killed in a drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region.
It should be noted that Kapustin was one of the organizers of the attacks on Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions in the spring of 2023. He was arrested in absentia on charges of defecting to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Later, a military court sentenced him in absentia to life imprisonment for treason and terrorism.
The "Russian Volunteer Corps" is banned in the Russian Federation and is recognized as a terrorist organization.
