A request was received from Armenia regarding the sale of petroleum products, and the issue of transportation via Georgia came up, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference on the results of the year, APA reports.
The minister said that the tariff applied by Georgia is indeed very high: "This raised questions in Azerbaijan, because it did not correspond to the existing practice. In a short period of time, the Georgian leadership intervened in the issue and the issue was resolved. A tariff in full accordance with market conditions was agreed between the companies. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Georgian leadership. This shows that Azerbaijan-Georgia relations are friendly. I think this issue has been resolved and that route will be used again."
