Documents in a criminal case against Armenians accused of war crimes have been read at the Baku Military Court.
One of the disclosed papers concerns the intensive shelling of the villages of Malibayli and Gushchular in the Shusha district in February 1992.
According to the case materials, the attackers used both small arms and heavy military equipment. As a result of these tragic events, 12 civilians were killed in Malibayli, and 3 went missing. In Gushchular, 4 people were killed, and 9 were taken hostage.
During the session, a document in another criminal case was also examined-concerning the shelling of a Laz bus on September 8, 1991, in the Khojavand district. According to the case materials, near a farm in the village of Kish, armed Armenians opened fire on the bus with automatic weapons, killing 7 people on the spot and injuring 27 others to varying degrees.
