Qatari Emir: If Israel wants to kill Hamas leaders, then what is the point of negotiations?

"If Israel wants to kill Hamas leaders, then what is the point of negotiations?" said Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during his speech at the Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha, APA reports.

“If you are insistent on securing the release of all hostages, then why are you killing those who are participating in the negotiations? When Israel sends drones and planes against us, how can we host a delegation from Israel in our own country (Qatar) for talks?” the Emir of Qatar asked rhetorically.

“There is no room for questions. This is simply a cowardly act of aggression, and there is no place for negotiating with such a counterpart,” Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani emphasized.

He also accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of harboring illusions that the Arab region would fall under Israel’s influence, stressing that such expectations are nothing but delusions.
