Today's meeting is a historic one, said President Ilham Aliyev in a press statement following the high-level meeting between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the city of Turkmenbashi, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Turkmenistan reports.
Thanking the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the head of state said that instructions have been given to the relevant bodies to create trilateral formats in various fields: “A cooperation format aimed at peace and collaboration is being established. May it be successful!”
