The 78th anniversary of Pakistan's independence has been celebrated at the Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan, representatives of the Pakistani community in Azerbaijan, and other individuals.
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag of Pakistan.
This was followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran.
During the continuation of the event, the importance of this day for Pakistan was emphasized, and prayers were made for peace and tranquility.
Then, Pakistan’s Ambassador Qasim Mohiuddin delivered a speech. He thanked Azerbaijan for the support shown in the conflict with India and expressed his wish for the continued brotherhood between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
