During his working visit to the city of Turkmenbashi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on August 5, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
Ali Asadov conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to his Georgian counterpart.
Irakli Kobakhidze thanked for the greetings and asked to convey his own greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia in various fields. They also discussed opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economy, investment, transport and transit, energy, humanitarian and other areas.
