The former deputy head of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya), Viktor Strigunov, has been detained, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He is accused of abuse of power and bribery.
Strigunov was appointed commander of the Siberian district of the Russian National Guard in 2016. In 2021, he became the first deputy head of Rosgvardiya but was dismissed from his position in 2023.
