The Iranian authorities have never supported assassination attempts against US President Donald Trump, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told Tucker Carlson, APA reports.
“Such a thing has never happened,” he emphasized.
Pezeshkian noted that no fatwa has been issued against Trump: “To my knowledge, no fatwa has been issued against any individual, including Donald Trump. Firstly, this has no connection with the Iranian government or the Supreme Leader. The purpose of issuing the fatwa is to condemn the insult of religion and religious figures. In other words, it is not specifically directed at Trump or any other individual.”
