Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, met with Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of Mine Action Agency of the Republic of. Azerbaijan (ANAMA), the ambassador said in a post on social media, APA reports.
It was noted that the main areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the field of humanitarian demining were discussed during the meeting.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support to Ukraine.
“I shared information about the successful operation of the ‘Revival-P’ demining machine, which the Republic of Azerbaijan handed over to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine a few years ago and for which an additional set of necessary spare parts was delivered this year,” the ambassador stated.
According to him, both sides agreed on practical steps to further deepen cooperation in this area. “We are grateful to our Azerbaijani partners for their willingness to work together and exchange experience,” the diplomat emphasized.
