The bodies of Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, Azerbaijani citizens who were brutally beaten to death by Russian law enforcement on June 27 in Yekaterinburg, have been sent to Azerbaijan, APA’s Russian bureau reports.
The bodies were taken from the morgue and transported to the cargo terminal of Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo Airport for repatriation.
They were then flown to Baku on a Ural Airlines flight, accompanied by family members. The plane is expected to arrive in Baku at 20:25 local time.
