On June 30, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received Bobur Usmanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, plans and joint projects arising from the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan alliance, preparations for bilateral high-level planned visits, including the multilateral cooperation agenda, and preparations for the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to be held in our country were discussed.
The importance of the high-level contacts between the leaders of the two countries, the Intergovernmental Commission, and the mechanism of political consultations in developing the alliance based on brotherhood and friendship between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was emphasized.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
