Azerbaijan's TABIB reveals condition of police officer injured in Aghdam landmine blast -UPDATED

A police officer injured in a landmine explosion in Agdam at around 01:50 AM has been hospitalized at the Emergency Medical Department of Barda District Central Hospital, APA reports, citing the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).

The male victim, born in 1988, was diagnosed with a traumatic amputation of the right foot and underwent surgery.

His condition is assessed as moderate, and treatment is ongoing in the intensive care unit.

A landmine incident occurred on June 30, 2025, in the Papravand village of the Aghdam district, APA reports, citing the Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

An employee of the Aghdam District Police Department, a police officer, was injured as a result of falling on an anti-personnel mine while on duty in the liberated Papravand village of the Aghdam district.

The injured person's right leg was amputated at the ankle.
