Armenian court orders detention of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan

The investigation in Armenia has sent motions to the court regarding the arrest of 16 supporters of the "Holy Struggle" movement, APA reports.

Among them is the leader of the movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, who was detained today.

The court granted the motion of the investigation regarding the detention of the detained leader of the "Holy Struggle" movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, for a two-month pre-trial detention.

In addition, during the trial, which was chaired by Judge Masis Melkonyan, a two-month pre-trial detention measure was also chosen for the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" deputy David Galstanyan, Bagrat Galstanyan's assistant

Movses Shabatyan, a blogger who is a supporter of the movement Armen Aleksanyan, retired colonel Migran Makhsudyan, the father of former (deceased) military man Ara Rostomyan, and activists of the movement Lydia Mantashyan and Agvan Arshayan.

In addition, the decision on the arrest of detained Tigran Galstanyan will be announced on June 26 at 11:00.

It should be noted that in total, the investigation has filed a motion for the arrest of 16 members of the opposition movement.
