Azerbaijan and North Macedonia mutually exempt holders of diplomatic and service/official passports from visa requirements, APA reports.
This is reflected in the draft law “On the approval of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports,” which was brought up for discussion at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
Note that the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports" was signed in the city of Baku on March 12, 2025.
According to the agreement, citizens of one party’s state who hold valid diplomatic and service/official passports may enter, transit through, exit, and stay in the territory of the other party’s state without obtaining a visa, for a period not exceeding 90 days within 180 days from the date of each entry.
After discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
