The organization and conduct of casino games in virtual form, the sale of tickets (or other participation rights equivalent to tickets) for participation in such games, as well as the execution (carrying out) by financial institutions of customer payment orders or other transactions on bank and other payment accounts related to participation, are not permitted, APA reports.
This is reflected in the newly added Chapter 3-1 to the Law "On the Creation of Artificial Land Areas in the Section of the Caspian Sea (Lake) Belonging to the Republic of Azerbaijan."
According to the draft, the organization and conduct of casino games in virtual form, including through the internet network, mobile communication network, social media platforms, other electronic communication means, internet and mobile telecommunication applications, as well as platforms based on other technologies, the sale of tickets (or other participation rights equivalent to tickets) for participation in such games, and the execution (carrying out) by financial institutions of customer payment orders or other transactions on bank and other payment accounts related to participation, are not permitted.
