President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye Mustafa Çiftçi on April 9, APA reports.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, Mustafa Çiftçi conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan.
The head of state expressed his thanks for the greetings and asked to convey his regards to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are based on the principles of brotherhood and strategic alliance, and that ties are expanding in all areas.
It was noted that effective partnership has been established between the relevant institutions of the two countries, and in this context, the ministries of interior of Azerbaijan and Türkiye are also successfully cooperating.
