The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has announced that a US fighter jet was shot down, Iran’s state television reports.
According to the information, a US Air Force F-35 fighter jet was shot down over the country’s central regions and crashed.
It was noted that the operation was carried out using the IRGC’s modern air defense system.
Iranian military officials emphasized that the likelihood of the crew members ejecting is low.
