Slovakia welcomes the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Slovak President Peter Pellegrini during a joint press briefing in Bratislava with his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Kavelashvili, APA’s local bureau reports.
He noted that Georgia plays a decisive role in ensuring stability in the South Caucasus region.
Pellegrini stated that Georgia holds a strategic position between Asia and Europe in terms of both transport and the import of energy carriers.
“No one can ignore Georgia in these matters or bypass it,” the head of state added.
The president also emphasized that Slovakia maintains very good relations with Georgia.
