“The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is an unshakable stronghold of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in the Eastern Mediterranean,” said Ünal Üstel, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, at the meeting of prime ministers of OTS member states in Baku, APA reports.
He noted that relations between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and the TRNC under the slogan “one nation, three states” should serve as an example for the entire OTS: “Our goal is to deepen these sincere relations with all member states and to complete the process of full membership of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We are ready to become a full member. Some centers act as if we do not exist, but we do exist. We have our own state, and citizens living under our flag who are the guarantee of our homeland’s freedom and sovereignty. I thank President Ilham Aliyev for his unwavering belief in Turkic unity and for his continued support of Northern Cyprus, which gives us strength.”
