The European Union is still unable to confirm the allocation of a €90 billion loan for Ukraine, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas told journalists, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to her, there are currently some obstacles related to both the 20th sanctions package against Russia and the issue of allocating the loan to Ukraine.
“Work is ongoing to overcome these obstacles, but unfortunately I cannot give you good news today regarding the allocation of the loan. That is why we continue our work and hope that this decision will be adopted by the next meeting of the EU Council,” Kallas noted.
