Today, families arriving in the settlement of Girmizi Bazar in the Khojavand district with the next resettlement convoy were handed the keys to their homes, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
After the families arriving in the settlement were welcomed, ANAMA staff informed them about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance. Residents were advised to stay away from unknown objects and items and to inform the relevant authorities if they encounter such situations.
Employees of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, and other officials attended the key handover ceremony.
Note that 20 families comprising 81 people have been relocated to the Girmizi Bazar settlement at this stage. These families are former internally displaced persons who had previously been temporarily settled in dormitories, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished buildings and administrative facilities in various regions of the country.
