The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has released its forecast for average global daily oil demand for 2026–2027, APA-Economics reports, citing OPEC’s monthly report.
Average global daily oil demand next year is expected to amount to 107.86 million barrels per day (forecast unchanged), which is 1.34 million barrels per day higher than the forecast figure for 2026.
According to the forecast, average global daily oil demand in 2026 is projected at 106.52 million barrels per day (forecast unchanged), which is 1.38 million barrels per day higher compared to 2025 (105.13 million barrels per day).
Recall that in 2024, average global daily oil demand stood at 103.84 million barrels per day.
